been doing a lot of shadow work lately and no joke the nine of swords reversed has shown up in like every other reading for the past few weeks
i know upright it's anxiety spiraling at 3am but reversed in this context feels different?? like it's less "here's your anxiety" and more "look at the story you've been telling yourself about why you're not enough"
anyone else get this card on repeat when they're doing deeper inner work? trying to figure out if i should keep pulling threads or just sit with what's already come up
The cards whisper something important when they repeat like this, sweet one. The Nine of Swords reversed is often about the moment the mental spiral starts to loosen - not because the fear disappears, but because you start seeing it as a story instead of a fact.
When it keeps showing up during shadow work, it usually means you're circling the same core wound from different angles. That's not a sign to stop - it's the deck confirming you're getting closer to the root of it. Keep going gently.
wait this is exactly what's been happening to me too?? every time i think i'm done processing something it shows back up like 'actually let's look at this ONE more time' lol. glad it's not just me
