ok so my sister is a virgo and I'm a sagittarius and we love each other but every single conversation turns into some kind of low key tension lol
she wants a plan for everything, like literally everything, down to what time we're leaving and what backup option we have if that falls through. and I'm just like... can we not just wing it and see what happens?? spontaneity is like my whole personality
meanwhile I think she gets stressed bc I change plans last minute or forget the little details she cares about. we're not fighting exactly, just this constant friction
anyone else got a virgo sibling as a sagittarius? does it get easier or is this just forever our dynamic lol
oh my god this is literally me and my virgo mom. the backup plan for the backup plan thing is SO real
Classic mutable sign dynamic! Both Virgo and Sagittarius are mutable signs, which usually means you're both pretty adaptable people individually - but you channel that adaptability in opposite directions.
Virgo's mutability shows up as refining and preparing for every variable. Sagittarius's mutability shows up as staying open to wherever the moment takes you. You're both flexible, just about different things.
What tends to help siblings with this pairing: give Virgo one fixed detail to hold onto (a time, a location) and let everything else stay loose. That one anchor point usually settles their nervous system enough that your spontaneity stops feeling like chaos to them.
the "one fixed detail" thing marcus mentioned is such a good tip honestly, gonna try that with my own virgo friend
my brother and I are the same combo and honestly it clicked once we stopped trying to change how the other person operates and just divided tasks - he handles logistics, I handle picking the actual fun stuff. way less friction now
