every single conversation with my mom turns into this weird tug of war?? she'll change plans three times in one afternoon and I just want to know the plan and stick to it. she says I'm "impossible to surprise" and I say she's impossible to make plans with lol
we love each other a lot, it's not like a bad relationship, it's just exhausting sometimes trying to meet in the middle
any other taurus + gemini parent-child pairs relate to this? does it get easier
yes omg. my mom is gemini and I'm taurus too and honestly it clicked for me once I stopped expecting her to plan like I do and just started asking "what are the options" instead of "what's the plan". she needs the wiggle room, I need enough structure to not panic
not the same signs but my dad is super mutable energy too and this is so relatable. the changing plans thing used to drive me up a wall until I realized it's not chaos to them, it's just how they process options out loud
update: tried the "give me the options not the plan" approach today and it actually made the conversation so much smoother. still a work in progress but feels like a good start
