anyone else have a capricorn parent as a pisces kid? my dad is SO practical and structured and I'm just... not. like at all
growing up he'd get frustrated that I'd rather daydream than make a five year plan, and I'd get hurt that he never seemed to get why I felt things so deeply
we're actually a lot closer now as adults but it took a minute to get here. curious if this is a common dynamic or if we're just built completely different
omg yes. my mom is a capricorn and I swear she speaks a completely different language than me lol. we get along great now but as a kid I definitely felt like the weird one
this is so relatable, my capricorn dad and I clash on literally everything from money to like... vibes in general. but he's also the most reliable person in my life so I can't even be mad about it
yeah honestly looking back I think he was just showing love in a really practical way the whole time, like making sure I had stability even when I wanted to run off and be dreamy about everything. appreciate that a lot more now
capricorn dad here (lol) with a pisces kid of my own and reading this makes me want to check in with her more about how she's actually feeling instead of just asking about her plans
