is it just me or do aries parents and cancer kids just not compute
my mom is SO direct, doesn't sugarcoat anything, wants decisions made fast. I need to feel my way into things and process before I can even talk about it and she reads that as me being difficult or avoidant
we love each other a lot but every disagreement turns into her wanting an immediate answer and me needing three days to even figure out what I'm feeling
anyone else navigate this combo with a parent? does it get easier
literally my dynamic with my aries dad lol. he wants a yes or no answer and I need to sit with stuff first. we've gotten better about it over the years, he's learned to just ask 'do you need time' instead of pushing
this is so real. my cancer mom + my aries brother is the same thing but reversed lol the fire sign just wants to MOVE and the water sign wants to feel it out first. it's not personal, you're just wired differently
