we're both water/air adjacent-ish signs so I always assumed we'd just get each other but nope
she's SO detached about stuff that feels huge to me and I end up feeling like she doesn't care, and she says I'm "too in my feelings" about everything. we love each other but every family event has at least one moment of this
any other pisces with an aquarius sibling relate? does it get better
omg yes, my aquarius brother once responded to me crying about something with a genuinely curious "but why though" like he was doing research lol. it's not coldness, it's just how their brain processes stuff
Historically, this pairing gets misread because both signs value independence, just expressed differently. Aquarius protects independence by staying a step removed emotionally; Pisces protects it by diving fully into feeling and needing that felt understood. Neither is wrong, but it does mean an Aquarius sibling often needs you to explicitly say 'I don't need you to fix this, I just need you to sit with me for a minute' rather than assuming they'll intuit it.
the "too in my feelings" thing hurts but honestly my aquarius sister eventually got better at just listening without trying to logic her way through my feelings once I told her that's literally all I wanted
