ok so I have this libra best friend and we've been close for like 6 years and she is genuinely one of the most thoughtful people I know
but EVERY time we try to pick a restaurant or plan a trip or literally anything?? she spirals into this whole analysis paralysis thing and we end up going in circles for 45 minutes lol
I looked it up and apparently libra being the sign of the scales literally means they're always weighing both sides? like they can't NOT see every angle of everything
is this a libra thing or just a her thing
anyone else have a libra in their life who's like this
omg are we friends with the same person lmao
my libra roommate spent THREE HOURS deciding which couch to buy. three hours. I had to leave the room
This is such a classic Libra trait and it's actually rooted in something beautiful once you understand it.
Libra is ruled by Venus and governs the 7th house - the house of relationships and partnership. They're hardwired to consider how every decision affects the people around them. That 'analysis paralysis' isn't selfishness or weakness, it's actually Libra processing how all the possible outcomes ripple outward.
The scales aren't stuck - they're just being thorough. A Libra who rushes a decision usually ends up with regret, because they skipped the part that matters most to them: making sure everyone's okay with the outcome.
Understanding that usually makes it easier to be patient with them.
the 'I can see both sides' thing is SO real
I'm a libra rising and even I annoy myself sometimes. I'll argue against my own opinion mid-sentence because I suddenly see the other side better
it's a blessing and a curse honestly
ok Marcus that actually helps a lot!! I never thought about it as her being considerate of others rather than just... stuck
maybe I'll start framing it like 'hey take your time, I'll follow whatever you decide' instead of pushing her. probably takes off some of the pressure
