ok so everyone told us this was a disaster waiting to happen. two leos together?? "too much ego" "you'll never stop fighting" blah blah blah
been with my leo bf for almost 2 years now and honestly it's the most electric relationship I've ever had. we DO clash sometimes but we figured out why it works and wanted to share
the big thing: we actually HYPE each other up instead of competing. like when he does something great I'm genuinely proud. when I do something great he's my biggest cheerleader. that whole ego competition thing doesn't happen if you're secure in yourself
also we have this unspoken rule that we never try to outshine each other in social situations. we sort of... share the spotlight? sounds hard but it comes naturally when you genuinely love someone
the passion is REAL. fights are intense but so is the making up lol. and honestly we both care so much that we actually try to fix things instead of just stewing
anyone else in a leo+leo situation? would love to hear other experiences
omg I needed this!! everyone keeps telling me two leos is a recipe for disaster but me and my leo best friend (who I may or may not have a crush on lol) get along better than anyone I've ever known
Great thread! From an astrological standpoint, Leo + Leo works when both partners have strong natal charts showing emotional maturity - look at your moon signs and Venus placements, those often tell a more complete story than sun signs alone.
The sun rules Leo, and two suns in the same relationship CAN create competition... but it can also create a power couple dynamic that's genuinely impressive. The key is usually where each person's Mars and Venus fall. Two Leos with compatible Venus signs? That's gold.
the sharing the spotlight thing you mentioned is so real. my parents are both leos (married 28 years!!) and my mom always says the secret is they each have their OWN domain where they shine. dad is the family comedian, mom is the one everyone comes to for advice. no overlap = no competition
literally my experience too!! the hype each other up thing... when two leos are doing that it's unmatched energy. my ex was a virgo and he never quite understood why I needed that kind of enthusiasm lol. leo + leo just GETS it
