ok so I know everyone says leo and aquarius are "opposites" and it's either amazing or a disaster. and honestly... both are kind of true lol

but we've been together almost 3 years now and I feel like we cracked the code, so I wanted to share

I'm a leo (sun + rising) and my partner is a full-on aquarius - like sun, moon, mercury all aquarius. very... a lot.

what actually works for us:

1. we give each other SPACE. like actual space. I used to feel rejected when he'd go off into his brain for hours but now I get it - he comes back so much more present and loving. and he's learned that when I want to do something fun or social, it's not me being superficial, it's how I recharge

2. he makes me think bigger. I can get caught up in my little world and what people think of me, and he just... doesn't care about any of that. it's kind of liberating honestly

3. I help him feel things. aquarius people can get so stuck in their heads about everything. sometimes he'll be analyzing a situation forever and I'm like babe just feel it for a second

the hard part is definitely the emotional stuff. he expresses love so differently than me and it took a while to stop reading his detachment as rejection. once I understood that him trusting me with his weird little theories and problems IS his love language... it clicked
