everyone told me leo and cancer would be a mess before we even got together lol. something about fire and water putting each other out

but honestly its been the opposite. im the leo and she brings me back down when im spiraling about something dumb, and apparently i pull her out of her shell when she wants to hide from stuff instead of dealing with it

the thing that actually works: she needs a LOT of reassurance that im not going anywhere, and i need her to actually show up and be proud of me out loud sometimes instead of just quietly caring. once we figured out we both just wanted the same thing (to feel secure) expressed differently, it clicked

not saying its perfect, we still bicker about how much space is normal. but curious if other leo+cancer pairs have found this too or if we got lucky
