did a quick pull about a decision I've been sitting on and got knight of swords reversed with the tower right next to it in the same spread
separately I feel like I understand both cards fine. reversed knight = reckless energy stalled out or someone acting without thinking things through. the tower = sudden upheaval, stuff falling apart to rebuild better
but together?? does the reversed knight mean I'm about to make an impulsive move that causes the tower moment, or is the tower more like external chaos that's stopping the knight's rash energy in its tracks
genuinely can't decide which direction the cause and effect goes here lol
ooh I love a combo question like this. I'd lean toward the tower being the bigger event and reversed knight showing your reaction to it - like frozen instead of charging in
wait this makes me think of my own reading last month, had almost the same pairing. following this bc I need more takes lol
honestly cause and effect in tarot combos is kind of a trap imo, sometimes two cards are just describing the same energy from different angles rather than one causing the other
