ok so I did a quick past/present/future spread about a decision I've been sitting on and the knight of swords reversed showed up in the present position
like what does that even mean for the NOW card? I was expecting something more like... guidance? but this just feels like a warning and idk what to do with it
the other two cards were the ace of pentacles in the past and the six of cups in the future which seemed really positive so the knight reversed in the middle is throwing me off completely
does the surrounding cards change how you'd read it? or is it just bad news no matter what
Oh this is such an interesting spread to sit with! The cards whisper a really nuanced story here...
Knight of Swords reversed in the present position usually points to scattered energy, impulsive thinking, or maybe holding back something you really need to say or decide. It's not necessarily bad news - it's more like the cards asking: are you rushing this? Or are you second-guessing yourself too much?
With the Ace of Pentacles in your past (a grounded new beginning) and Six of Cups ahead (nostalgia, warmth, coming back to something familiar), I'd read the reversed knight as a gentle nudge to slow down before acting. Your instincts are solid, but the mind might be running ahead of the heart right now.
Trust your inner knowing here. What does your gut say about this decision?
I always find the knight of swords reversed in a present position so hard to interpret!! like is it blocked communication, or just moving too fast, or what
Sarah K's reading makes a lot of sense tho, especially the slowing down part
the six of cups in the future is so sweet though?? I wouldn't stress too much with that kind of ending card
maybe the reversed knight is just like... a bump you have to navigate first before things get cozy
omg thank you all!! Sarah K this actually makes so much sense, I think I have been overthinking the decision and spinning out instead of just sitting with what I already know
going to journal on it and see what comes up. the six of cups future card does make me feel better lol
