ok so I did a quick past/present/future spread about a decision I've been sitting on and the knight of swords reversed showed up in the present position
like what does that even mean for the NOW card? I was expecting something more like... guidance? but this just feels like a warning and idk what to do with it
the other two cards were the ace of pentacles in the past and the six of cups in the future which seemed really positive so the knight reversed in the middle is throwing me off completely
does the surrounding cards change how you'd read it? or is it just bad news no matter what

I had something similar once - really positive cards on both sides and something intense in the present and I was like... why is this here?? but honestly the present card is just showing you where you ARE, not where you're going
like the knight reversed in the middle might literally just be saying "hey you're currently stuck in your own head, overthinking this decision" which... kind of fits if you've been sitting on it for a while??
the ace of pentacles + six of cups around it makes me think the decision itself is solid, your energy around it just needs to catch up. the cards aren't contradicting each other, they're showing a full picture

i ended up making the decision i'd been sitting on and honestly the overthinking spiral was way worse than the actual decision itself lol. wish i'd read it that way from the start
