ok so I got a job offer last week and I did a quick reading to see if I should take it.
pulled the king of pentacles reversed as the main card and now I'm kind of spiraling lol
from what I've read it can mean financial mismanagement or someone in a position of power being a bit... sketchy? but I'm not sure if it's pointing at the job itself, the company, or maybe even me?
has anyone gotten this card reversed when asking about a job opportunity and how did you interpret it?
Oh this is such a great question! The King of Pentacles reversed in a job reading is worth paying attention to - the cards whisper that something in the material realm needs a closer look.
It could be pointing to: the company's financial stability, a controlling or micromanaging boss energy, or even a reminder for you to trust your own authority around money and worth.
I'd pull a clarifier card asking specifically 'what energy am I walking into?' and see what comes up. Trust your inner knowing here - you're clearly already sensing something.
I got this exact card reversed when I was deciding on a job last year! for me it ended up meaning the salary was way lower than I expected and there were some shady things about the bonus structure
I still took the job but negotiated harder because of it lol. ended up being a good experience overall tbh
the king reversed can sometimes just mean slow or blocked energy around finances... like maybe the role isn't as stable as it looks on the surface? definitely worth researching the company
thank you all so much!! I pulled a clarifier like Sarah suggested and got the 7 of pentacles which feels like... patience? so maybe I should take the job but not expect overnight results
going to do more research on the company before deciding
