so I did a reading asking about this guy I've been seeing and pulled the king of cups reversed in the position representing him
I know the king of cups upright is like... emotionally mature, stable, caring. but reversed??
idk if it means he's emotionally unavailable or just going through something. we've only been dating 2 months so it's hard to know
has anyone gotten this card reversed for someone they were dating? did it turn out to be a red flag or more of a 'he's working on himself' kind of thing?
The cards whisper a nuanced story with the King of Cups reversed in that position...
This card reversed for someone you're seeing doesn't necessarily mean danger - it often points to emotional walls or someone who hasn't fully stepped into their emotional maturity yet. There's a difference between someone who's emotionally closed off by choice versus someone who's still learning to open up.
Ask yourself: Does he show up when things get hard, or does he pull away? That pattern will tell you more than the card ever could. Trust your inner knowing here.
omg I pulled this EXACT card for someone I was dating a while back
for me it turned out to be the 'still working through old stuff' situation. we had some really good conversations about it and things got a lot better. so it's not always doom and gloom!
wait this is so helpful, I got this card for my ex and I kept second guessing what it meant. the 'emotionally unavailable vs working on himself' framing is exactly the question I was stuck on too
thank you all so much!! sarah that question about whether he shows up when things get hard is really the key thing isn't it. gonna pay more attention to that
