ok so I've been into astrology for a couple years but always felt like something was off. like I'm a Capricorn sun and yeah that fits in some ways but people always say "wow you're so bubbly and approachable" and I'm like... thanks? but also that's not very capricorn of me lol
anyway I finally did my full birth chart properly (with the exact time this time, not just the date) and found out I have a Gemini rising
and I literally sat there for like ten minutes just going oh. OH.
suddenly so much makes sense — why I'm the person who talks to strangers at parties, why I process emotions by talking them out, why people always assume I'm more chill than I actually am inside
my capricorn energy is all there but it's underneath. the gemini rising is basically my whole first impression and social personality
has anyone else had this moment where your rising sign just... unlocks everything?
yes omg this happened to me with my scorpio rising!! I'm a cancer sun and people always said I seemed intense and mysterious and I could NOT figure out why bc I feel like a soft sentimental mess inside lol

the birth time thing is so important and nobody talks about it enough!! I had the wrong time for years and my chart never fully clicked
once I got the right time and saw my actual rising it was like getting the right prescription glasses for the first time
following this thread bc I still don't know my exact birth time and now I really want to find out. do you just call the hospital or..?
yes!! I requested my birth certificate from the county records office and they had the exact time on it. took like two weeks to arrive but SO worth it
also @MarcusAstro I did check my moon — pisces moon — and now I understand why I feel everything so deeply underneath all that gemini chattiness lol. capricorn + pisces moon + gemini rising is apparently a whole situation
