judgement reversed in outcome position?? help
ok so I did a reading about whether to reconnect with my estranged family member
past: six of cups (makes sense, childhood stuff) present: the hanged man (yep, stuck in limbo about this) outcome: judgement REVERSED
I was expecting judgement upright which would be like... yes, reconciliation, awakening, etc. but reversed in the outcome spot has me worried
does this mean the reconciliation wont work out? or that I'm not ready for it? idk how to read this

Oh this is such a meaningful spread! The cards whisper something important here...
Judgement reversed in outcome doesn't necessarily mean "no" - it often points to the inner work that needs to happen first. With Six of Cups in the past, there's clearly nostalgia and a desire to return to something. Hanged Man shows you're already in that suspended, reflective state.
Judgement reversed suggests the reconciliation might not bring the "awakening" or closure you're hoping for right now. Not because it's impossible, but because the timing or your expectations might need adjustment.
Ask yourself: am I seeking reconnection for them, or for my own healing? That distinction matters.
I got judgement reversed in an outcome position once too and honestly? it ended up meaning I needed to forgive myself first before anything external could change
the card kept showing up until I did some serious inner work
From a symbolic perspective, Judgement reversed often relates to self-doubt or avoiding an important call to action. In the outcome position, it may indicate that the situation's resolution depends on internal transformation rather than external circumstances.
Historically, the Judgement card connects to themes of resurrection and answering a higher calling. Reversed, it asks: what are you resisting about your own growth in this situation?
