ok so I need some honest opinions here
there's this guy at my job who I've been talking to for like 2 months now and the connection feels SO good. we can talk for hours, he makes me laugh all the time and he just gets me??
but I'm a taurus and he's a gemini and like... every compatibility article I read says it's a disaster. the whole "taurus wants stability, gemini wants freedom" thing
I'm not usually into signs but this has me nervous lol. has anyone actually made a taurus+gemini thing work? or am I setting myself up
honestly don't let sun signs alone scare you off! I know a taurus/gemini couple who've been together for years. it takes work but what relationship doesn't lol
Great question, and I see this combo come up a lot. Looking at the chart dynamics here - Taurus and Gemini are adjacent signs which creates what's called a semisextile aspect. Not the flashiest compatibility on paper, but not doomed either.
The real challenge is that Taurus (Venus-ruled, fixed earth) craves consistency and deep roots, while Gemini (Mercury-ruled, mutable air) needs mental stimulation and variety. These aren't irreconcilable needs though.
What I'd look at: his moon and rising signs matter a lot here. A Gemini with Taurus or Cancer placements elsewhere can be far more grounded. And honestly the fact that you two already have deep conversations? That's Gemini's love language. If he's choosing to have them with you repeatedly, that says something.
Don't count it out based on sun signs alone.
wait ask him his moon sign!! that changes everything. my ex was a gemini sun but taurus moon and he was lowkey the most steady person i'd dated
omg ok I asked him and he's a gemini sun, scorpio moon, cancer rising?? is that good lol
also thank you everyone this thread made me feel so much better about it
