ok so I finally looked into my full birth chart and found out my rising sign is libra and it explains SO much
my whole life people have told me im super charming and easygoing when they first meet me. like no?? im a capricorn lol. im literally anxious and planning everything 24/7
but apparently your rising sign is what people see first?? and libra rising makes you come across as friendly and balanced and all that
it also explains why i get along so well with other air signs even tho cap is an earth sign. my best friend is a gemini and on paper we shouldnt work but we just click instantly
anyone else feel like their rising sign completely changes how people perceive them? like theres a whole different version of you that other people see vs who you actually are inside
YES omg this is so real. im a scorpio sun with a sagittarius rising and people always think im this fun adventurous party girl when they meet me
but inside im literally analyzing everything and being suspicious of everyone lol. the sag rising is such a mask
it does help me connect with fire signs tho which is cool bc my boyfriend is an aries
wait until you look into your moon sign too!! thats the one that really got me
im a leo sun which everyone expects to be loud and confident but my cancer moon makes me soooo emotional and sensitive. like i will cry at a commercial lol
the rising is what they see, the moon is what you feel. the sun is somewhere in between i think?
this is literally why i tell people sun sign compatibility is only part of the picture. my partner is a virgo and im an aries which is supposedly terrible but his rising is leo and my moon is in sagittarius so we have all this fire energy together
once i understood rising signs it changed how i look at every relationship honestly

so im a capricorn sun, libra rising, pisces moon. no wonder im a mess lmao. the cap in me wants to have a 5 year plan and the pisces moon just wants to stare at the ocean and cry
