virgo sun here, been with my pisces partner for a couple years now and it took me a WHILE to stop seeing our differences as a problem
i want the plan, the checklist, the backup plan for the backup plan. hes much more go with the flow, feels his way through decisions instead of mapping them out. used to drive me a little nuts ngl
but honestly being around that energy has loosened something in me. i still make my lists lol that's not going anywhere, but im way better now at just... letting a night be unplanned and trusting it'll work out
anyone else have a partner whose sign is basically your opposite and it ended up being good for you instead of just friction
yes!! im a capricorn with a sagittarius partner and its the same thing. drives me crazy sometimes but ive loosened up so much since we got together
Makes a lot of sense looking at the chart pattern here. Virgo and Pisces sit directly opposite each other on the zodiac wheel, and opposite signs usually carry the exact qualities the other one is missing.
That's why the friction can flip into growth once you both stop trying to 'fix' each other. Virgo brings the structure Pisces sometimes needs, Pisces brings the flow Virgo doesn't let itself have. Sounds like you've found the balance point rather than the tug of war.
this is making me look at my own relationship differently, im the pisces in my pairing and always assumed i was just the 'messy' one lol. nice to think of it as balancing instead
love this take. my libra partner and i are also opposite signs (aries) and yeah, once i stopped fighting it, it became one of the best parts of us
