ok so upright ten of swords is already rock bottom right, betrayal, total ending, the whole dramatic sword-in-the-back thing
so when i pulled it REVERSED in a reading about a work situation i just assumed it meant like... an even worse ending? but then i looked it up and apparently reversed can mean recovery is starting or you're resisting an ending that's already happened
how do you tell the difference in an actual reading. like what are you even looking at to know if its "healing after rock bottom" vs "refusing to let go of something already dead"
for me it usually comes down to the cards around it. if theres stuff like the star or six of swords nearby im leaning recovery. if its surrounded by stuff like the moon or another ten I'd lean more toward the "still resisting" read
honestly i think this is one of those cards where you have to be brutally honest with yourself about which one it is lol. like ask yourself if you're actually moving on or just telling yourself you are
yeah that tracks with my situation ngl. i think i already know the work thing is over i just haven't fully let myself accept it yet
