been with my virgo partner for almost a year now and I'm a cancer so I'm VERY much a "tell me you love me out loud" kind of person
he basically never says it but he'll rearrange his whole schedule to drive me to appointments, fix stuff around my apartment without me asking, remember weird little details like my coffee order changing
took me embarrassingly long to realize that's just... how he loves. anyone else have to relearn what love looks like with a virgo?
omg yes. my virgo ex used to just quietly restock things he noticed I was running low on lol. took me a while to clock it as a love language too
Looking at this from a chart perspective - Virgo is mutable earth, so their love language tends to be service and small acts of maintenance rather than verbal affirmation. It's not withholding, it's just a different dialect.
Cancer, being a cardinal water sign, often needs that emotional verbal confirmation to feel secure. The bridge here is usually learning to translate: his actions ARE his "I love you," and if you tell him directly that words matter to you too, most Virgos will actually try - they just don't default to it.
the coffee order thing got me lol. my virgo mom does stuff like that too, noticing tiny details is so their whole thing
