ok so I'm trying to get better at reversed cards and eight of wands is tripping me up
upright = fast energy, messages, things moving quickly. I get that
but reversed - is it just... slow? like everything grinds to a halt? or is it something more specific
also does position matter for this one? like would it mean something different in a past vs future position
the way I think about it: upright = green light, things moving fast. reversed = yellow light, slow down and pay attention to WHY it's slowing down
sometimes it's delays outside your control, sometimes it's you needing to pause before acting
Great question! The Eight of Wands reversed is really about frustrated energy - and you're right that it's more nuanced than just 'slow.'
Here's how I break it down:
For position - absolutely matters. In a past position it often shows a time when things were held up or scattered. In a future position it's a heads-up to anticipate delays. In advice position it's usually 'don't force it.'
What context were you reading it in?
ok the 'scattered momentum' one is clicking for me!! I was reading about a project I have going on and that describes exactly what's happening
not like nothing is moving, just nothing is moving in the SAME direction lol
thank you this was so helpful
