ok so I'm trying to get better at reversed cards and eight of wands is tripping me up

upright = fast energy, messages, things moving quickly. I get that

but reversed - is it just... slow? like everything grinds to a halt? or is it something more specific

also does position matter for this one? like would it mean something different in a past vs future position

the way I think about it: upright = green light, things moving fast. reversed = yellow light, slow down and pay attention to WHY it's slowing down

I pulled eight of wands reversed twice in a row during a job search reading and was SO confused. like... does this mean my applications are going nowhere??

but the 'scattered momentum' framing is exactly it. I had like 5 applications out at once and none of them were really getting my full energy. once I focused on just 2 that I actually cared about, things started moving again

so for me it was less about delays and more about needing to pick a direction. maybe that helps someone else too

update: ended up dropping 3 of the 5 applications and putting all my energy into the 2 i actually wanted. got a callback from one of them within the week lol. still not sure if that's the card working or just basic focus but either way, lesson learned
