my best friend is a virgo and I love her to death but sometimes I feel like we're speaking two different languages
i process things out loud, big reactions, need to talk it through right away. she needs time to think before she says anything and gets kind of quiet when im already three feelings deep into a conversation
used to think she just didnt care as much but ive realized she just needs space to process before responding
any other leos figured out how to actually communicate with their virgo people without it turning into a whole thing
as a virgo reading this... yes the silence isnt me not caring lol im just running the numbers before i speak. if you ever just say hey take your time i dont need an answer right now that helps SO much
Looking at this from an elemental angle - Leo is fire, direct and immediate, while Virgo is earth, more deliberate and detail oriented. Neither style is wrong, they just move at different speeds.
The fix isn't getting your Virgo person to react faster or getting yourself to slow down completely - it's agreeing on a signal. Something like "can we come back to this in an hour" gives your Virgo friend room to process without the conversation feeling dropped, and it gives you closure that it's not being ignored.
lmao this is literally my leo mom and virgo dad's whole marriage. 30 years and they still have to remind each other of this sometimes
update: tried the come back to this in an hour thing and it actually worked really well?? feels less like im being brushed off now lol thank you
