dating a cancer for about 4 months now and I love him but I genuinely do not understand how his brain works sometimes
like I'll say something totally casual and he'll go quiet and I find out three days later it actually hurt his feelings?? meanwhile he says I'm "too blunt" when I'm just... saying the thing
I don't want to walk on eggshells but I also don't want to keep accidentally hurting him. sagittarius brain wants to just say it and move on, seems like cancer brain needs something totally different
anyone else navigate this combo? what actually works
omg the delayed reaction thing is so real with cancers. mine does the same, doesn't process it till later
not the same combo but my moon is cancer and honestly what helps is just checking in like "hey was that ok" right after instead of waiting to see if it lands weird later. saves the 3 day delay lol
sag here married to a cancer for 3 years now lol it gets so much easier. we just learned that I say things fast and he needs a beat to respond, doesn't mean anything is wrong. give him the pause and it stops feeling like a fight
the "check in right after" thing is actually genius, trying that tonight. thank you all this thread already has me feeling less like I'm doing everything wrong
