my partner is an aries and honestly the way we argue is so different its almost funny
he just says the thing. no buildup, no softening, straight to the point. meanwhile im over here for 20 minutes trying to find the perfect diplomatic way to bring something up and by the time I say it hes already moved on to the next topic lol
weve been together a while and it mostly works but I still get thrown off when he just bluntly says whats bothering him. libras plan every word out beforehand right? is it just me
curious how other libra + aries pairs handle the communication gap
omg yes, my brother is an aries and I used to think he was mad at me because he'd just blurt stuff out. turns out thats just... how he talks. once I stopped reading tone into it and just took the words at face value things got so much easier between us
fellow libra here married to an aries lol. the thing that helped us was I just started saying things a little more directly even if it felt uncomfortable at first, and he learned to pause for like 5 seconds before responding. meeting in the middle instead of expecting the other to fully switch styles
the meeting in the middle thing is really helpful actually. I think I've been expecting him to soften up and forgetting I could just say things more plainly too. gonna try that instead of overthinking every sentence for once
