my partner is a taurus and honestly communication between us is like speaking two different languages sometimes lol
i process things out loud, like i need to talk it through in real time to figure out what i even think. he needs like... time to sit with something before he responds and if i push for an answer right away he just shuts down
it's not that either of us is wrong we just need completely different things in the moment. anyone else navigating this? curious what's actually worked for other gemini + taurus pairs
THIS. my taurus best friend does the same thing, i'll text her something and not hear back for hours and used to think she was mad lol. she just needs to process before she replies. once i stopped expecting instant responses things got so much easier between us
as a taurus dating a gemini i can say the reverse is true too - i had to learn that when he's talking through something out loud he's not necessarily asking me to respond right away, he's just thinking. took me way too long to figure that out honestly
honestly giving each other a heads up like 'hey i need a minute before i respond' changed everything for my gemini-taurus friendship. so simple but neither of us thought to just say it out loud lol
