how do you communicate with a libra when youre a taurus??

ok so my boyfriend is a libra and im a taurus and we keep having the same argument over and over

like I want to just... talk about something directly and fix it. but he wants to discuss it from every possible angle and consider everyones feelings and by the time he's done I've already forgotten what we were even talking about lol

and then HE gets frustrated because he thinks im not listening but I AM, I just want to get to the point??

is this a venus-ruled thing? we both supposedly love harmony but we have very different ways of getting there. any other taurus + libra couples figure this out?

what helped us was realizing we both want the same outcome (peace lol) but we process differently. I started giving him more time to think out loud and he learned to give me the bottom line first THEN explain

the breakthrough for us was understanding that when he talks in circles its not him avoiding the issue - its actually how he FINDS his answer. once I stopped seeing it as stalling and started seeing it as his process everything got easier

wait the mercury signs thing is so smart. my ex was a libra sun but had mercury in scorpio and he was actually super direct lol. maybe check that?

update: showed him this thread and we had a good laugh. he admitted he does talk in circles and I admitted I can be too blunt sometimes

we looked up our mercury signs and his is in virgo?? which apparently makes him even MORE analytical lol. mine is in taurus too so that tracks
