been with my leo partner for almost a year now and it's mostly great but there's this recurring thing we keep running into
they want big affection, compliments, attention on them sometimes (which like, fair, leos need that) and I'm just... not wired that way?? I'm way more in my head, detached, doing my own thing
it's not that I don't care I just express it so differently and I think it reads as cold to them sometimes
anyone else dealt with this specific push-pull? genuinely curious what's worked for people bc I don't want this to be the thing that trips us up
omg yes. my ex was leo and honestly the affection gap was real for us. i learned i just had to verbalize care more even when it didn't come naturally, like literally saying 'i appreciate you' out loud instead of assuming they'd just know
aquarius here too and this is so relatable lol. i think leos need the spotlight moment sometimes and we're just built to observe from the side. not a bad thing just different fuel
following this bc same situation. my leo partner literally said 'i dont need grand gestures i just need you to LOOK at me when i talk' and that kind of broke something open for me lol
honestly i think the fixed sign thing plays into it too, both of you dig in and dont wanna be the one who bends first. once we both admitted that out loud things got so much easier
