turns out it was about finding a mentor at work? I ended up getting assigned to this senior person for a project and learned SO much

not saying yours will be the same but just wanted to share that it wasn't as scary as I thought it would be

ok so I actually got the hierophant in a career reading too when I was deciding between stability vs passion

for me it ended up meaning I needed to find a mentor or learn from someone more experienced before making the leap. not that I had to stay conventional forever, just that there was still something to learn where I was

ended up staying another year, found an amazing mentor at work, and THEN made my move. felt way more prepared

just another way to look at it - doesn't have to mean boring traditional life lol

but honestly what helped me was thinking about it less as "institution" and more as "your own inner teacher". like what if it's not about following someone else's rules but figuring out your OWN values

for the corporate vs creative thing - I'd ask: what does YOUR gut say about what actually matters? the hierophant might literally be pointing to that question

ok coming back with an update because this thread genuinely helped me so much

i decided to stay at the corporate job for now, but I had a conversation with a senior person on my team about my creative interests and she's been amazing. like, turns out she has a whole life outside of work in the arts and she had a lot to say about not burning bridges before you have a foundation

still don't know what my "future conventional life" looks like lol but it feels way less scary now. maybe the hierophant was pointing at that relationship all along?
