been doing shadow work for like two months now and the hermit reversed has shown up in almost every pull since i started??
like i get isolation vs avoidance is kind of the whole reversed hermit thing but this feels excessive lol. anyone else get one card that just refuses to leave during shadow work? starting to wonder if im missing something obvious
In all my years of shadow work, a repeating card during that kind of practice is rarely random, dear one. The Hermit reversed circling back again and again often means you are close to something you keep almost looking at, then retreating from. Withdrawal versus true solitude - ask yourself which one you are actually doing each time it appears. The old ways teach us that the card that won't leave is usually pointing at the door you keep walking past.
omg this happened to me with the tower during a hard year lol. i think some cards just attach themselves to whatever work youre currently doing
following this bc i want to know too. also is it just me or does shadow work in general just pull the same 3-4 cards over and over no matter what deck i use
margaret t that "door you keep walking past" line got me lol. gonna sit with that for a while instead of trying to force an answer right away. thank you
