ok so I did a reading asking about a potential relationship and pulled the hermit reversed in the feelings/emotions position and now I'm spiraling a little lol
everything I read says it can mean isolation, fear of intimacy, or refusing to open up... which honestly hits too close to home. I've been told before that I build walls
but like... is the hermit reversed always about avoidance? or could it mean something different in a love context specifically? I really like this person and idk if the card is telling me to check myself or if it's commenting on their energy
also does it matter that I pulled it alongside the two of cups? the two of cups was in the outcome position which feels hopeful but then the hermit reversed is just there making me nervous

The Hermit reversed in a love reading is so often about the inner work that needs to happen before or alongside connection. It's not saying "run away" - it's saying "look inward."

I got the hermit reversed in a love reading once and at first I panicked too. but looking back it was just pointing at the fact that I needed to stop overthinking and actually let someone in
sounds like you already have some self-awareness about the walls thing which is like... half the battle honestly
the position really matters so much with this card. feelings position hitting different than like outcome or advice position
also are you asking about your feelings OR their feelings? that changes everything with how I'd read it

going to try to be more open about what I want and see what happens. the two of cups gives me hope lol
