help interpreting the star in a celtic cross?
ok so I did a celtic cross reading about whether I should go back to school and the star showed up in the crossing position (position 2)
i know the star is usually super positive - hope, inspiration, renewal and all that. but as the crossing/obstacle?? does that mean I'm being TOO hopeful or something?
the foundation card was 8 of pentacles and the outcome was ace of wands if that helps. honestly the more I stare at this spread the more confused I get lol

ohh thats an interesting take!! I never thought about position 2 that way. I always assumed it was purely challenging energy
so it could be like... hope is the energy Im working with here? that feels way more aligned tbh
omg I had something similar once! the star as a crossing card threw me off too
the way I ended up reading it was that the obstacle wasnt the hope itself but maybe having such high expectations that it was stopping me from actually taking action? like being so focused on the perfect outcome that I wasn't moving forward
with ace of wands as outcome tho that seems like a good sign for taking the leap!
wait crossing position doesnt always mean obstacle exactly right? I thought it was more like the energy affecting the situation or what's crossing your path
so the star crossing could mean inspiration or hope is already surrounding this decision. not blocking it necessarily
8 of pentacles in foundation + the star + ace of wands outcome... honestly this spread is screaming GO FOR IT to me lol
youve put in the work before (8 of pent), youve got hope and vision (star), and new creative beginnings are coming (ace of wands). like what more do you need haha
