has anyone else dealt with the hardest part of being with a capricorn as a leo? asking for real opinions not just the cute compatibility stuff
my partner and i get along so well most of the time but theres this one thing that keeps tripping us up - i want big spontaneous plans and they want to plan everything out weeks in advance. neither of us is wrong exactly but it causes so much friction
whats been the hardest part for you two if youve dated a capricorn as a leo (or vice versa)
leo here dating a capricorn for 2 years now. the planning thing was SO real for us at first. what helped was picking one thing to be spontaneous about and letting them plan the rest lol
Looking at this from a synastry lens - Leo's fire wants immediate expression and Capricorn's earth wants structure and long-term security. Neither is 'wrong,' they're just moving at different speeds toward different needs.
The fix usually isn't compromise in the moment, it's dividing territory: let Capricorn own the logistics that make them feel secure, and carve out a lane where Leo gets full spontaneity without it disrupting the bigger plan. Works better than negotiating every single decision.
omg the 'dividing territory' thing marcus said is exactly what my leo mom and capricorn dad do lol. she picks the vacation, he picks literally everything else about how it happens
