so I did a 3-card reading about this situation with someone I've been seeing and the knight of cups came up reversed in the outcome position
like... is that bad?? the knight of cups upright is all romantic and charming and feelings and stuff, so reversed in outcome position... does that mean the romance just... doesn't happen?
or is it more like, the romantic energy is there but something's blocking it?
idk I keep going back and forth. would really love some input from people who actually know how to read this card

Knight of Cups reversed in the outcome position doesn't necessarily mean the romance fails - it can mean the idealized, fantasy version of it won't pan out the way you're imagining.
Ask yourself: Am I seeing this person clearly, or am I projecting who I want them to be? The reversed knight often signals we're chasing an illusion rather than the real person in front of us.
Trust your inner knowing. If there's something that feels 'off' about this connection that you've been brushing aside, the card may be asking you to look at it honestly.
I got this exact card reversed in an outcome position once and I was so confused too!!
for me it ended up being that the timing was just off. like the feelings were real but we were both at different places in life. not a no forever, more of a 'not right now'
reversed outcome cards are so tricky. sometimes I read them as 'the energy of this card but internalized' - so maybe the romantic outcome is more about your own emotional journey than an external relationship?? idk just how my teacher taught me
ok these are all making me think differently about it... especially the 'are you seeing them clearly' question, that one hit. gonna sit with this for a bit and maybe do a clarifier pull. thank you all 💙
