got a sagittarius boss as a virgo and its. a whole vibe

so my new manager is a sagittarius and I am a very detail oriented virgo and the culture shock is real

she's like "just wing the presentation it'll be fine" and I am internally screaming because I have had the slide deck finished and triple checked for a week

honestly though she's not a bad boss? just very go with the flow, big picture, figure it out as we go type energy which is like. the opposite of how my brain works

anyone else work under a sign that's basically your organizational opposite. does it get easier

lmaooo as a sag this is so real. we really will just say "it'll work out" with zero plan and somehow it usually does. drives my virgo friends insane

wait do you feel like it's actually helped you loosen up at all or is it just stressful lol

I had a sag boss for two years and honestly it taught me to stop over preparing for stuff that didn't need it. still triple check the important things but I stopped panicking over every little detail

@junipertide honestly a bit of both lol. but orbitingjune's comment is giving me hope, it has forced me to loosen my grip a little and my presentations are still landing fine even when i dont have every slide perfect a week early

virgo with a sag business partner and yeah, it took me a while to accept that her 'we'll figure it out' energy usually does work out even without a plan lol. still keep my own checklist on the side though, best of both worlds honestly

@meadowdesk22 glad it's still going well! honestly the biggest shift for me was realizing my over-preparing was mostly about my own anxiety, not actually about the outcome. once i separated those two things it got a lot easier to let go of the small stuff
