ok so everyone always says gemini and cancer are a mess bc air and water don't mix but four years in and we're honestly doing great
i'm the gemini, i need to talk everything out and process out loud. my partner is the cancer, he feels everything so deeply and needs space to just BE sometimes before he talks about it
honestly i think the trick was realizing my chattiness isn't me being shallow, i just think through talking. and his quiet isn't him pulling away, he's internalizing before he responds
we balance each other out so much?? he grounds me when i'm all over the place and i pull him out of his shell when he's stuck in his head overthinking
anyone else in a gemini/cancer pairing that's actually working out. feels like we never hear the good stories lol, its always "worst combo ever"
omg yes! my sister is gemini/cancer with her husband and they're the most solid couple i know. people sleep on this pairing so hard
how long did it take you two to figure out the talking vs needing space thing? asking bc me and my partner are early on and still bumping heads over it
this is so nice to read honestly. everyone online acts like every pairing besides the obvious water+water or fire+fire ones is doomed. love that yall found your rhythm
@Bomster honestly probably like the first year of just... noticing the pattern and naming it out loud instead of taking it personally. once we could say "i need to process" or "i need quiet time" without it meaning something was wrong, it got so much easier
