my best friend is a virgo and i'm a gemini and we've been close for like 3 years but honestly some weeks it feels like we're speaking different languages
she plans everything down to the minute and gets stressed when i show up late or change plans last second. meanwhile i think she overthinks literally everything and it's exhausting to watch her spiral over small stuff
we both love the same random weird topics and can talk for hours which is why i think it works at all. but the logistics of just... hanging out sometimes feels like a negotiation
anyone else have a gemini/virgo friendship? does it get easier
Gemini and Virgo are both ruled by Mercury, which is actually why the conversations click so well - you're both wired for ideas and words. But Mercury shows up differently in a mutable air sign vs a mutable earth sign.
Your Gemini side wants variety and spontaneity. Her Virgo side wants order and reliability. Neither is wrong, you're just processing the same planet's energy through different filters.
What usually helps is giving her a heads up even when plans are loose - "might be a bit late, just so you know" goes a long way for an earth sign, even if the lateness itself doesn't change.
omg the negotiation thing is so accurate lol. my virgo friend and i had to basically set "rules" for hangouts and it sounds intense but it actually helped so much
