my best friend is a virgo and i'm a gemini and i love her to death but honestly our friendship takes actual effort sometimes lol

like i'll casually mention like five different ideas in one conversation and she'll want to circle back and actually finish talking about the first one. meanwhile i've already moved on to idea number six in my head

it's not bad exactly, she keeps me way more grounded than i'd be on my own, but sometimes i wonder if easier combos exist out there. anyone else have this pairing and figured out how to make it click?

my closest friend since college is a virgo and i'm a gemini too. honestly it clicked once we stopped trying to communicate the same way

i text her a wall of half formed thoughts and she just picks out the actual question buried in there lol. took a couple years to get used to each other's rhythm tho

update: brought this up with her (in a joking way lol) and she said she actually likes being the one who "finishes the thought" for both of us, she just wishes i'd slow down enough to notice when she's trying to say something too

kind of a nice reminder that the thing that annoys me about her is also just her showing up for me in her own way

this thread is so real, following bc my sister is a virgo and we drive each other up the wall sometimes but always circle back to being close
