ok so my best friend is a scorpio and we've been close for like 4 years now and I genuinely cannot figure out if this is the healthiest friendship I've ever had or the most exhausting one lol
like on one hand she GETS me in a way most people don't?? she'll see through my deflecting and call me out on stuff and honestly I need that because I can be kind of avoidant sometimes
but then other times she goes full silent treatment mode and I have zero idea what I did and being a gemini I just want to TALK about it but she needs to retreat and process and it drives me absolutely insane
and the weird thing is we always come back stronger after those rough patches?? like the friendship actually deepens every time we work through something
anyone else a gemini with a scorpio best friend?? is this normal or do we just have some kind of unhinged dynamic
omg this is literally my friendship with my gemini best friend but from the scorpio side lol
i go quiet because I need time to figure out what I'm actually feeling before I can talk about it. it's not punishment I promise!! we just process SO differently
the fact that you keep coming back to each other says a lot though
gemini + scorpio friendships are lowkey underrated?? everyone always talks about how incompatible they are but the ones I've seen actually last forever
I think it's because you balance each other - gemini keeps scorpio from getting too heavy, scorpio keeps gemini from being too surface level
the part about her seeing through your deflecting... yeah scorpios are terrifying for that lol
my scorpio friend does the same thing to me and I'm a cancer so I ALSO avoid things. she will just stare at me until I say what's actually wrong. no escape
the silent treatment thing is so real but honestly once I learned not to take it personally my scorpio friendships got so much easier
they're not punishing you they're just... going internal. very different from how we (geminis) handle stuff by talking it out immediately
you two sound like you have a really solid friendship tbh
