so I've been reading tarot for myself for a while but somehow never pulled the nine of wands reversed until yesterday.
every book/site description I found made it sound like burnout, giving up right before the finish line, total exhaustion. which, fair, I do feel pretty fried lately lol
but is it always this negative? or can it sometimes just be a nudge to actually rest instead of a "you're about to fail" warning? kind of spiraled a little after pulling it not gonna lie
Take a breath, sweet one - this card is not a verdict, it's a mirror.
Nine of Wands reversed rarely means you're about to fail. More often it's your own inner defenses finally showing you the toll they've taken. You've been guarding so much for so long that the wall itself has become exhausting to maintain.
The invitation here isn't to push harder. It's to ask: what am I still defending that no longer needs defending? Rest is not the same as giving up.
omg the "wall itself becomes exhausting to maintain" line is calling me out lol. needed this today honestly
ok this actually makes me feel so much better about it. took the afternoon off instead of pushing through and don't regret it at all
