so I've been doing tarot for like 2 months now and today was the first time I got the hierophant reversed??
i looked it up and every site is like "breaking from tradition" or "rebellion against norms" and idk that just sounds scary to me lol
is this always a bad card to pull or am I overreacting. this was in a general "what do I need to know right now" pull if that matters
In all my years of reading, I've learned the reversed Hierophant is rarely a bad omen - it's simply an invitation. It shows up when the old structures, the ones you were taught to follow without question, no longer fit who you're becoming.
It doesn't mean rebel for rebellion's sake. It means: examine what you've been told to believe, and keep only what still rings true for you.
not a bad card at all imo! I got this when I was questioning some family traditions and it ended up being really freeing
following this bc I just started reading tarot too and the reversed cards freak me out more than they should lol
