been reading for about 4 months now and finally got the 8 of swords reversed today. asked about a situation at work where I feel kind of stuck and unable to speak up
from what I've read upright is about feeling trapped/self-limiting beliefs, so reversed should mean release from that right? like the mental block finally breaking?
but it doesn't FEEL like relief yet, still feels stuck honestly. does the reversed version usually show up before things actually shift or after?
Oh this is such a good question. In my experience the reversed 8 of swords often shows up BEFORE the shift is fully felt - it's less "you're free now" and more "you're starting to see the ropes you tied yourself with."

this happened to me almost exactly. got it reversed a few weeks before I actually worked up the nerve to talk to my manager about workload. felt the awareness way before the actual relief
following this bc I got the same card last week for a similar work thing lol
