pulled the wheel of fortune reversed for the first time ever last week and it kind of freaked me out ngl
i've read that upright it's like, good luck, cycles turning in your favor, all that. but reversed just feels like ??? bad luck? stuck in a bad cycle?
is it always negative when reversed or is there more nuance to it. this is only my third month with tarot so still learning lol

Upright, the Wheel is change happening TO you - a cycle turning, often through outside forces. Reversed, it's more about resistance to a cycle, or a lesson repeating because something hasn't fully been learned yet.
Ask yourself: what pattern keeps showing up in my life that I haven't fully sat with? That's usually where the reversed Wheel is pointing.
same thing happened to me a few months in! i think the panic is normal at first bc so many reversed cards online just get labeled 'bad version of the upright' with zero explanation
yeah that's exactly it, the explanations online are either super vague or super scary lol. this actually makes a lot more sense, thank you
reversed wheel showed up for me during a job search that felt like it was going in circles. once i actually looked at what i kept doing the same way, things shifted. so not bad, just a nudge in a new direction
