pulled the hermit reversed for the first time last week and it kind of freaked me out lol
i usually get upright hermit and it feels cozy, like permission to retreat and think. but reversed felt so much more isolating? like i've been avoiding people more than reflecting lately and the card just... called it out
is reversed hermit always about isolation going too far, or am i reading too much into one pull

Reversed Hermit often isn't punishment, it's a nudge. Upright Hermit is chosen solitude - reversed can mean the solitude has become a habit rather than a choice. Ask yourself gently: am I still processing, or am I hiding?

omg i got this exact card last month during a really isolating stretch and it was honestly the nudge i needed to text a friend back lol
following this bc i pulled it reversed too recently and didn't know what to make of it. the habit vs choice framing from sarah k is really helpful actually
