so I've been reading tarot for about 6 months now and I finally got the fool reversed for the first time today. was doing a reading about whether to take a new job opportunity
everything I'm reading online makes it sound super negative - like being reckless, making stupid decisions, etc. but idk the upright fool is about new beginnings and taking leaps of faith right?
does reversed always mean the opposite/bad version? or is there nuance I'm missing here
kind of freaking out a little ngl
Oh sweet one, reversals are rarely as scary as the internet makes them sound!
The Fool reversed isn't about being foolish - it's often about hesitation. It whispers: are you holding back from a leap because of genuine wisdom... or because of fear?
In a job reading, this could mean: pause and make sure you have all the information before jumping. It's not a "don't do it" - it's a "look before you leap."
Trust your inner knowing here. What does your gut say about this opportunity?
honestly reversals used to freak me out too until I started seeing them as like... the shadow side or the quieter version of the card
the fool reversed for me usually means I need to think things through more, not that I shouldn't do the thing at all
I got fool reversed when I was thinking about moving cities last year!! I almost didn't go because of it but then I realized it was just telling me to actually have a plan instead of just winging it
ended up moving 3 months later after I had savings and a job lined up. best decision ever
ok this is all making me feel so much better lol. I think maybe it's telling me to negotiate more or ask better questions before accepting? gonna sit with it a bit more. thank you all!!
omg I found this thread searching for the same thing and im so glad I did
just got fool reversed for the first time yesterday about whether to apply for a new job and I was spiraling lol. but reading through everyone's comments here made me realize its more like "slow down and think it through" not "everything will go wrong"
ended up doing more research on the company and found some red flags I would have missed if I just jumped in. so... thanks for asking this question op!
