ok so I pulled the star reversed like... six months ago when I was deep in a job search that was going nowhere. at the time I read it as basically "hope is dead, give up" which is NOT the right interpretation but honestly that was where my head was at
I journaled about it and then kind of ignored it because it made me feel bad
fast forward to a few weeks ago and I was flipping through my old journal and reread what I wrote. and something just clicked??
the star reversed for me was about misplaced hope. I was putting SO much faith in one specific outcome (this particular company, this particular role) that I was basically closed off to anything else. like my energy was locked in this one direction and it wasnt working
once I let go of that specific dream and opened up to other paths, things actually started moving. got a completely different job offer that I'm honestly way more excited about than the original one I was obsessing over
the star reversed wasn't saying "no hope for you." it was saying "you're hoping for the wrong thing"
anyway. has anyone else had a reversal suddenly make sense way after the fact? I feel like sometimes the cards are just... early
Oh, this gave me chills. What a beautiful realization.
The Star reversed is so often misread as hopelessness - but you've touched on its deeper meaning. The cards whisper of redirected faith, not lost faith. When hope becomes fixation, it closes us off from the universe's actual plan for us.
Your willingness to release that one specific outcome - that's where the real magic happened. Trust your inner knowing. It clearly guided you well here.
Congratulations on the new role!
wait "hoping for the wrong thing" is such a good way to put it. I'm going to think about this with some of my past readings now
the part about the cards being "early" is so real. I feel like I only understand like half my readings in the moment and the rest only makes sense later
yes!! exactly @Tomlin88. it's made me way less stressed when I pull something confusing now. I just write it down and trust that I'll get it eventually lol
