pulled the nine of swords reversed like every day for almost two weeks during a really anxious stretch at work and could not figure out why it kept following me around
kept googling "nine of swords reversed meaning" and getting the standard "anxiety lifting, releasing worry" answer but that's not how it felt AT ALL, i was still spiraling every night
turns out (for me at least) it wasn't saying the anxiety was gone, it was pointing at the specific thought loop keeping me up - i kept replaying the same worst case scenario about a project instead of actually looking at what was true
once i wrote out the actual facts vs the spiral in my head separately, the card stopped showing up. wild how specific it was being the whole time and i just wasn't listening
anyone else have a reversed card basically nag them until they got the message lol
The cards whisper their message louder the longer we ignore it, and this is such a perfect example. The nine of swords reversed isn't erasing anxiety magically - it's asking you to separate the story from the facts, exactly like you did.
Trust that inner knowing next time a card repeats this fast; you clearly already know how to listen once you actually slow down.
omg the writing out facts vs spiral thing is such a good tip, stealing that immediately
this happened to me with the moon reversed a while back, felt like it wouldn't leave me alone until i actually addressed the thing it was pointing at lol
