pulled the eight of cups reversed a few months back during a really rough patch (thinking about leaving my job) and totally misread it as "you're a coward for wanting to stay"

turns out i had it backwards. looking back now i think it was telling me i wasn't actually ready to walk away yet, and that forcing myself to leave before i'd worked through what was keeping me there would've just meant repeating the same patterns somewhere else

ended up staying, actually dealt with the thing that was bugging me (communication with my manager, kind of embarrassing it took a tarot card to get me there lol), and now i genuinely like my job again

anyone else read this card totally wrong the first time around and then have it click way later?
