empress reversed about starting my art business... feeling stuck

so I've been thinking about finally quitting my day job and selling my art full time. I did a reading about whether this is the right time and got the empress reversed in the outcome position

I always associated the empress with creativity and abundance but reversed feels like... a no? like maybe I'm not ready or it won't work out?

has anyone gotten empress reversed when asking about a creative venture or business? I dont know if this means I should wait or if I'm interpreting it wrong

ooh this is tricky. I pulled empress reversed when I was thinking about starting an etsy shop and I took it as "not the right timing yet" but honestly looking back I think I was just scared lol

what was the rest of your spread?

The Empress reversed in the outcome position doesn't necessarily mean no - it often speaks to blocked creativity or neglecting self-nurturing in the process.

Ask yourself: Are you rushing this from a place of desperation rather than abundance? The Empress reversed sometimes asks us to tend to our own needs first before birthing something new into the world.

The creative energy is there. It may just need more time to gestate before it's ready to emerge.

I got empress reversed about a similar thing last year!

for me it turned out to mean I needed to work on my relationship with money and self-worth before I could really succeed. like the business wasn't the problem, MY mindset was

ended up doing some journaling about it and 6 months later I started selling prints on the side. still have my day job but it's going well

thank you all sm for the responses. the self-nurturing thing really hit home because I've been so stressed about this decision I haven't actually been making art lately lol

maybe I need to focus on creating for joy again first and the business stuff will come when its ready
