asked about a promotion I've been eyeing and pulled the emperor reversed as the outcome card
from what I've read it's about lack of structure, disorganized leadership, someone (maybe me?) not stepping into authority the way they should. which like... ouch, kind of hit different
is this always a bad sign for career stuff or can it mean something more useful? trying not to spiral about it lol
reversed emperor showing up for a promotion doesnt automatically mean no, i think it's more like... check if the role actually has the structure you need before you say yes. happened to me and it was less about me not being ready and more the job itself being kind of a mess organizationally
wait did you pull anything else in the spread? curious what came before it, that usually changes the whole vibe of the reading for me
following this bc i got the same card for a job interview last month lol. still haven't heard back but trying to stay chill about it
update: talked to my manager about what the role actually involves and yeah... structure is definitely lacking right now lol. gonna ask some pointed questions before I commit to anything, feels like the card was onto something
